The decision to make the tomb was taken by Humayun’s son Akbar in 1569-70, and was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect. Another magnificent Mughal architectural with a blend of Persian style is the Humayun’s tomb. At close inspection, the Humayun’s Tomb is a mausoleum built out of love. it was built in 1570 AD, also a mausoleum for Mughal Emperor Humayun. By 1993, Humayun’s Tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the clear depiction of outstanding qualities of architecture during the period it was erected in.
